Last night Dan and I attended Ashley's recital at a great place called Cafe 322 in Sierra Madre - the owners are long time Italian opera singers and their granddaughter was in the recital with Ash. Six young women sang and after we had a wonderful Italian meal with Rachel, David and Colleen and Eddie and Rene Gibbs (Rachel's folks). That is Ashley's voice teacher on the right looking so pleased and proud. Then the fun began as the place filled with "old timers" who took turns singing! Just like you see in the movies, we all sang along when we knew the words! Thanks David and Rachel for a wonderful celebration.
